A Bit About Me

I was born in New York City and spent most of my childhood on Long Island.

I went to a public school that gave me a strong foundational education. I had some really wonderful teachers who inspired me to dream big and parents who raised my sister, brother and me to be, above all else, people of integrity and character.

I earned a BS in Economics at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where I started my first business, a candy bar company. After graduation, I moved to New York City to build a career as an innovator and problem-solver. Over the past decade, I've worked across a range of industries — technology, entertainment, retail and media — founding, advising and investing in companies that aim to thrill, inspire and make our world a better place.

I believe in collaborative leadership. I bring together best-in-class teams to build efficient, effective and empathic organizations that care about the services they provide and the people they serve.

The people who know me best say that I'm a go-getter. I enjoy taking on big challenges and delivering even bigger solutions. Instead of accepting our world as it is, I prefer to imagine it as it can be. Then I roll up my sleeves and make it happen!

I've been fortunate in life. I've had my successes and failures. Sometimes I struggled, but the people around me provided me with the support I needed to pick myself back up. It's my life's mission to make sure everyone has the support they need to overcome adversity, pursue happiness and make their dreams a reality.
